| Friday, Apr. 10, 2009 | On Fri., Apr. 10th Cornerstone helped host the 2009 Lemon Grove Good Friday Cross Walk, Luncheon & Worship Service Approximately 140 people from Lemon Grove gathered at 10:00 a.m. at the 1st Baptist Church of Lemon Grove and they walked through the streets of Lemon Grove taking turns carrying a cross and praying for the community. They ended the walk at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall and enjoyed a light fingerfood luncheon hosted by Cornerstone & LGUMC. Ecclesia Youth gathered with 3,000 other youth & youth workers at The Rock Church in San Diego for an event called Acquire-the-Fire hosted by Teen Mania. This event challenged the youth to get closer to God, to stand up against the destructive culture and to be change agents in their schools.
