Introduction by Pastor Lee
This is a collection of articles that were written mostly for our church newsletter, although some were written for other purposes. They cover a wide range of subjects and were written over several years.
These are my opinions and you may agree or disagree with them. If they have made you think and draw closer to God – then I have accomplished my purpose.
Some will want to know who I am and for them I present the following: I am a true native of San Diego (born and raised) and live in Lemon Grove. I have been a member of the Worldwide Church of God since 1976 and grown a lot because of the issues that we have faced head on through the years. I am an elder in the church (which means nothing except that I guess that some people seem to think I am doing some things well) and assist in the pastoring of the local congregation – now called Cornerstone Community Church in Lemon Grove.
I like writing and sharing my relationship with God and hope that by sharing these articles with you, you to can have a pleasant and close relationship with Him also.
Lee Logue
Lee is the Assistant Pastor at Cornerstone and is often called, Pastor Lee. In addition to writing articles and giving sermons occasionally, Pastor Lee teaches a weekly class called 'Facing the Future', leads a bi-weekly Bible Study called 'Wrestling with the Scriptures,' and recently started leading a monthly photography shoot. Lee works full-time at Cox Communications in San Diego and is putting together a ministry plan for what he wants to do when he retires. He has been married to his lovely wife, Diana, for 40 years and they have 3 lovely grown daughters.
